An emergency project has been considered to provide Abadan refinery's unrefined oil and to establish zone 2 refineries. The project includes: Establishing approximately 45 km of 20" underground pipeline in between Darkhuyn and Bahmanshir. Generally, the operation consist of construction pipeline's R.O.W and transportation of about 45 km sandblasting, primer, welding, excavating, wrapping and coating 20" pipes; and finally hydro test and commissioning the pipeline. Because of urgency, the project was done in fall and winter. The pipeline was crossed from an area which became like swamp because of raining and water heading-up, so it was difficult to cross and needed special facilities.
